Mobile Cooling Hub

The AdaptWest mobile cooling hub has been popping up at community events across West Torrens, offering shade, misting fans and a welcome break from the heat — so that our community can keep participating and enjoying events together, even as our climate changes.

Following a successful pilot at the City of West Torrens 2026 Summer Festival, we are now exploring options to roll the hub out region-wide, bringing cooling relief and climate conversations to more communities across western Adelaide.

The mobile cooling hub is one of the ways the AdaptWest partnership is working to keep our communities connected, active and resilient in the face of a changing climate.
