Heatwaves and rising energy costs can make it hard to keep cool at home. The Cities of West Torrens, Charles Sturt and Port Adelaide Enfield are working together through AdaptWest to help our community stay safe and comfortable in hot weather.

What is a cool space?
A cool space is an air‑conditioned public place where you can escape the heat during hot days and heatwaves.
Cool spaces offer:
• free entry and accessible facilities
• a comfortable, cooled indoor environment
• access to drinking water and toilets
• free wifi, power points to charge your devices
• seating, tables and other amenities
• activities such as books, games and programs
Come and visit participating libraries and community venues across western Adelaide.
