This year, AdaptWest, Resilient East, Resilient South, and Resilient Hills and Coasts have come together to deliver a series of webinars on a range of sustainability and climate ready homes topics. The webinar will be presented by the energy experts at Renew, who have been providing independent information on household sustainability for over 40 years.

This series is brought to you by Renew on behalf Adapt West, Resilient East, Resilient South and Resilient Hills & Coasts. These Regional Climate Partnerships represent 20 local governments across Adelaide and surrounding regions.

About the webinars

The webinars will be held on Zoom, on Tuesday or Thursday nights between 6.30 -8:00pm.

They will all be introduced by a different partner council, have one hour of expert chat, and plenty of time for questions.

New Event - Electric Vehicle Update - 2024

Held 7th May 2024 



Electric vehicles are finally arriving in Australia. Come along to this online event to hear Bryce Gaton explain the gamut of electric transport options available, their charging needs and where to find reliable sources of information. Presented by energy experts Renew on behalf of AdaptWest, Resilient East, Resilient South, and Resilient Hills and Coasts. Winter Comfort for Renters

Held Tuesday 16th May 





In this session we explained energy saving measures like draught proofing window coverings, and more efficient use of heating and hot water to help you find ways to reduce your energy bills, with tips on reading your bills and understanding your energy usage. We also discussed strategies for approaching your landlord for appliance upgrades. 

Winter Comfort 

Held Tuesday 23rd May 





In this session we explored ways to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home, and explained which steps to take first to save money and stay warmer this winter. We unpacked energy saving measures like draught proofing, insulation, heating, hot water and double glazing, and helped you discover ways to take control of your bills, with tips on reading your bill and understanding your energy usage.
